Digital IC Design Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Digital IC Technical Lead to join our dynamic team at IC Resources in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that ships into top-tier flagship smartphones, wearable devices, and other consumer products.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the development of custom IC to deliver high-quality digital work packages from RTL design, supporting relevant verification strategy and plan, with strong knowledge of front-end and back-end Digital IC design flow including coverage, synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), linting, formality, GDS layout, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of digital IC engineers in the design and verification of complex integrated circuits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful execution of IC design projects.
  • Develop and implement design methodologies to improve efficiency and quality of digital IC designs.
  • Oversee RTL design, synthesis, and verification activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Drive the development and execution of test plans to validate digital IC designs.

Requirements

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in the digital IC design process from concept to completion, with a focus on RTL design and verification.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team.
  • Proficient in industry-standard EDA tools and methodologies for digital IC design and verification.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of digital design principles, synthesis, and timing analysis.

About the Role

The Digital IC Technical Lead will lead a team of engineers to develop and verify complex integrated circuits. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful execution of IC design projects. Day-to-day activities will include mentoring team members, overseeing RTL design and verification activities, and driving the development and execution of test plans to validate digital IC designs.
