Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology and Coding Specialist to lead our Ultimate Tech program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technology and coding activities to children aged 8-14, while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Design and deliver engaging technology and coding activities that cater to the needs and abilities of our campers.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of Technology Instructors to ensure they deliver exceptional care and activities to our campers.
  • Policy Execution: Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with parents, school representatives, and Head Office as needed.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage administrative tasks and serve as the primary point of contact for parents.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified or working towards relevant qualifications in IT teaching, Computer Science, or a Digital Media related course, with programming experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in working with children, with a passion for helping young people develop their IT skills.
  • Leadership: Natural leadership skills, with experience in managing teams, ideally in the IT teaching or holiday camp sectors.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with strong face-to-face customer service skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with patience and enthusiasm.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Paediatric First Aid: Hold a Paediatric First Aid (6 hour or 12 hour) qualification or be willing to gain one through the Ultimate Activity Company.
