Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on residential properties and related communal spaces.
  • Carrying out remedial tasks, including the replacement of consumer units, lighting fixtures, and general electrical components.
  • Enhancing communal areas with updated lighting and electrical systems.
  • Implementing full and partial rewiring following unsatisfactory EICR results.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in electrical systems.

Candidate Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • City and Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or a comparable certification.
  • City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent is preferred but not essential (competence will be evaluated).
  • Experience in social housing or domestic testing is beneficial.
  • A valid driving license is required.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check upon hiring.
