Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Consultant to lead our Child and Maternal Health team. As a key member of our Specialist Public Health Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce health inequalities affecting children and families in Fife.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programs to improve child and maternal health outcomes
  • Collaborate with public and third sector partners to improve health and wellbeing
  • Contribute to the development of health policies and strategies
  • Participate in the Health Protection Out of Hours On-call Rota
  • Take on line management responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • Specialist Registration in Public Health or equivalent
  • Experience in child and maternal health or a related field
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
