We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Acute Care Nurse to join our Integrated Tissue Viability Service at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. This is a temporary 12-month contract to cover maternity leave, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in wound care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for patients with non-complex wounds, lower limb wounds, or follow-up reviews for patients with complex wounds.
- Develop and implement wound management plans, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide teaching and educational support to clinical colleagues to promote evidence-based practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Tissue Viability Team to develop and maintain wound care knowledge and skills.
- Support the Leg Ulcer Clinic Coordinator in the triage, appointment, and administration of the leg ulcer clinic service.
