About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Golang Engineer to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance Golang-based microservices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient Golang-based microservices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of microservices.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to implement good development practices, such as consistent branching strategies, coding standards, BDD/TDD, CICD, and DevOps.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with team goals and objectives.
  • Support other team members and teams by sharing knowledge and implementing innovative solutions that can be used across platforms.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of Golang, developing microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) software development methodology.
  • Experience with ALM, JIRA, and DevOps tools.
  • Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Good understanding of BDD/TDD.
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX commands.
