We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Specialist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Main Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Leadership: Work collaboratively with other colleagues to deliver a high-quality care service to patients, ensuring that all activities are conducted within the contracted level of service and operating plan.
- Supervise Junior Staff: Provide clinical supervision of junior medical/dental practitioners, working closely with other consultant colleagues to ensure that all staff are supported and developed.
- Develop Business Plans: Take an active role in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the Care Group's Business Plan, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives.
- Ensure Quality Standards: Be aware of and comply with all Trust infection prevention and control policies, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Contribute to Teaching and Research: Contribute to the development of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and exam preparation, as well as participating in clinical research and publications.
- Qualifications: Fellowship in Dental Surgery or Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery or equivalent Masters qualification in a relevant clinical discipline.
- Registration: Full registration with the United Kingdom General Dental Council (GDC).
- Experience: Successful completion of an SAC approved five-year minimum training programme in Restorative Dentistry, or within six months of completion, or equivalent.
- Skills: Experience in day-to-day organisation of Restorative services in a busy Teaching Hospital, familiarity with information technology and general computer skills, and ability to demonstrate leadership capability within multi-disciplinary teams.
