About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS Liaison and Crisis Team as Clinical Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing service development, working collaboratively with all disciplines of the team and external agencies to provide crisis assessments, consultation, advice, and support to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for young people presenting in crisis.

Main Duties
  • Provide clinical leadership to the CAMHS Liaison and Crisis Team
  • Develop and implement service development plans to improve the quality and effectiveness of the service
  • Work collaboratively with all disciplines of the team and external agencies to provide crisis assessments, consultation, advice, and support
  • Ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for young people presenting in crisis

Person Specification
  • Licensed with full GMC registration
  • GMC registration/eligible
  • Inclusion or eligibility for inclusion on GMC's Specialist Register (CCT/equiv/CESR)
  • Appropriate training/experience gained within CAMHS to undertake role
