We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Liaison Psychiatry team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and consultant input to our Adult Liaison Psychiatry service.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to our Liaison Psychiatry team
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients with mental health needs
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to meet the complex needs of our patients
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our service strategy and business plan
- Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care

- CCT in general adult psychiatry
- Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983
- Prior experience in liaison psychiatry (adults)
- Experience in Addictions psychiatry (Substance use Disorder role)
- Audit experience and understanding of clinical governance principles
