Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 6 teacher to join our team at Wayman Education. As a primary school educator, you will be responsible for teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to a group of children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
- Provide pastoral care to children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
- Keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents.

Our school is a two-form entry school located in a lovely residential area. We have a friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms. We aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through our supportive pastoral environment.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply).
- Ability to commute to the school via public transport.
- Experience teaching UKS2.
- Confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behavior in line with school behavior policies.
