About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our professional team at AB Agri. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our financial control framework and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audit reviews of various business divisions to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, and controls.
- Present audit findings and make recommendations to management to ensure compliance with the financial control framework.
- Prepare and issue audit reports on a timely basis, with all recommendations agreed and accepted by the audited business.
- Monitor management's implementation of audit recommendations and issue follow-up reports as necessary.
- Ensure external audit management letter points are resolved and self-assessment management action plans are implemented in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with previous experience in internal or external audit, risk, and controls within a large corporate environment.
- Comprehensive organizational skills and project management experience.
- Previous experience working within the Big 4/Top 10 is necessary.
- Knowledge and experience of auditing financial control.
- Genuine desire to learn new things, broaden knowledge base, and make a real difference.
- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships across a wide group of stakeholders, with varying positions.
