Finance Manager Job Opportunity

Alternative Heat Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team, focusing on the Data Centre sector. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations related to the construction of data centres, managing VAT compliance and reporting for the UK and Ireland, and handling payroll processes for the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial operations related to the construction of data centres
  • Manage VAT compliance and reporting for the UK and Ireland
  • Handle payroll processes for the UK and Ireland
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs
  • Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax) and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) regulations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in construction finance
  • In-depth knowledge of VAT regulations in the UK and Ireland
  • Proficiency in managing payroll for the UK and Ireland
  • Strong experience in preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
  • Expertise in budgeting and forecasting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a finance team
  • Familiarity with RCT and CIS regulations
