Job Title: Finance Manager

Alternative Heat Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team, focusing on the Data Centre sector.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent team management skills and a keen eye for detail to oversee financial operations related to the construction of data centres. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction finance and be adept at managing financial operations across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial operations related to the construction of data centres.
  • Manage VAT compliance and reporting for the UK and Ireland.
  • Handle payroll processes for the UK and Ireland.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
  • Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax) and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in construction finance.
  • In-depth knowledge of VAT regulations in the UK and Ireland.
  • Proficiency in managing payroll for the UK and Ireland.
  • Strong experience in preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
  • Expertise in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a finance team.
  • Familiarity with RCT and CIS regulations.
