Position Summary: We are in search of a skilled IT Systems Administrator/3rd Line Engineer to assist in delivering high-quality computing environments. This role involves providing and managing System Administration expertise to our user community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escalate significant issues to the IS Technical Services Manager or Team Lead.
  • Maintain high standards in safety, health, and quality while being a collaborative team player.
  • Support the provision of a resilient and cost-effective infrastructure for hosted services.
  • Manage core server support, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, collaborating with team members and vendors as necessary.
  • Process IS Change requests promptly to facilitate service improvements.
  • Support users in their daily activities, ensuring timely resolutions to problems.
  • Foster relationships with other IT Operations teams to enhance support and communication.
  • Stay updated on new technologies to inform decision-making.
  • Participate in technical briefings and support groups.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience as an IT Systems/Infrastructure Server Engineer.
  • Proficient in VMWare, Linux, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Dell/HP hardware support and patching.
  • Familiarity with Windows Infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Group Policies, and DNS.
  • Ability to manage server certificate updates.

All candidates must be prepared to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for this role.
