Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our Painting Unit in North London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of painting works on various sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our direct labour force to ensure consistent results and high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborate with the Contract Manager to organize workload, labour, and materials, ensuring efficient project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, and procedures related to Health & Safety, including safe systems of work and PPE checks.
  • Communicate project targets, costs, progress, and variances to client surveyors and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Conduct effective inductions for new team members.

Requirements:

  • A background in Painting and Decorating, with a minimum of NVQ level 2 qualification.
  • Proven experience as a foreperson or supervisor in a similar role, preferably in social housing or a related environment.
  • Strong organizational and IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems, Excel, and Outlook.
