Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. This position is crucial for delivering technical support for our power products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical assistance in electrical distribution solutions, specifically for both single and three-phase high voltage systems.
  • Engage in pre-sales and post-sales activities, offering solutions as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Oversee the delivery and maintenance of SCADA and process control systems.
  • Manage all project phases, including delivery, documentation, user requirements, application, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Participate in a call-out rota, typically one week in four.
  • Utilize a company vehicle for field service tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Full UK Driving License.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home as project requirements dictate.
  • Proven experience in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems, particularly in single or three-phase power distribution.
  • Strong skills in field wiring, calibration, and diagnostics.
  • Preferred: Chartered Engineer certification, with additional certifications such as Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and Professional Engineer (PE) license being advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of transformer technology for both single and three-phase systems.
