Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team in York, United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and motivating teams to achieve ambitious sales targets while ensuring client satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Motivate the Sales Team: Drive the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Design and execute effective sales plans to drive revenue growth, leveraging market analysis and customer insights.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Regularly review sales metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Conduct Market Research: Identify new sales opportunities through market research and analysis, staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Train and Mentor Sales Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to sales staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Teams: Work closely with marketing and product teams to optimize sales efforts, ensuring alignment and synergy.
Requirements:
  • Proven Leadership Experience: A proven track record in sales leadership or a similar role, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and market analysis.
  • Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, market analysis, and business operations.
  • CRM and Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office, with the ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
