Receptionist - Lisburn City Council

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Lagan Valley Island. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a customer service or receptionist environment, with a strong background in dealing with the public, handling telephone queries, and operating computerized systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining filing systems, handling cash and card payments, and selling Museum stock.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.59 and the opportunity to work in the public sector. If you are a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and callers
- Handle telephone queries and respond to emails
- Operate computerized booking systems and maintain filing systems
- Handle cash and card payments and sell Museum stock
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
- 1 year's experience in a customer service or receptionist environment
- GCSEs grade A-C including Math and English
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
