Receptionist Opportunity at Lisburn City Council

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Lagan Valley Island. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a customer service or receptionist environment, with a strong background in dealing with members of the public, handling telephone queries, and operating computerized booking systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to visitors and callers
  • Handling and selling Museum stock, stock control, and dealing with cash and card payments
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
  • Operating computerized booking systems and performing administrative tasks

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.59 and the opportunity to work in the public sector. If you are a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

  • 1 year's experience in a customer service or receptionist environment
  • GCSEs grade A-C including Math and English
  • Computer literacy
