We are seeking a dedicated Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Gov Facility Services Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to delivering exceptional services.

We provide critical and time-bound services to the Ministry of Justice and are looking for facilities management professionals that can make a difference. We want applicants who:

  1. Hold electrical qualifications C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
  2. Ideally have C&G 2391 - Electrical inspection and testing certification.
  3. Have a certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition.
  4. Also hold plumbing qualifications C&G 6035, C&G 6189, and an NVQ Level 3 in plumbing or equivalent.
  5. Have experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, steam, and water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional services and meet customer expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes.
