We are seeking a skilled Automotive Machinist to join our team at a renowned manufacturer of car parts and engine solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating a range of equipment, including CNC Laser welds, water jets, hydraulic presses, and manual machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate robot welders and other machinery to produce high-quality automotive components.
- Read and interpret technical plans and drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Handle products with care to minimize waste and damage, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of production, stock control, and quality control.
- Program machines to set up and prepare materials for production.
- Stay up-to-date with knowledge of raw materials and production processes.
- At least 12 months experience operating machinery (CNC or manual).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
