Business Development Director

Xclusive Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth.

About the Role

This is a key strategic sales role that requires a strong leader to deliver business growth targets across our portfolio of services.

The successful candidate will take ownership of existing transport capabilities and create new sales opportunities to serve existing clients and attract new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales function to maximize sales opportunities and achieve business growth targets
  • Manage a small team and provide guidance and support to ensure success
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to develop large revenue streams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and drive growth

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development and sales leadership within a logistics business
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth and revenue
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Passion for achieving sales and profit targets
