Job Title: Amazon Area Manager

As an Amazon Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Estate Managers to ensure all estates within your portfolio meet compliance requirements and provide an award-winning level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cover a portfolio of estates across the South of England, ensuring all estate services are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead, motivate, and manage team members to achieve exceptional results.
  3. Monitor service delivery and provide effective solutions for improvement.
  4. Plan, control, and authorise expenditure to ensure value for money is achieved for customers and leaseholders.
  5. Take swift action to resolve issues and report significant areas of concern to the Head of Operations.
  6. Comply with internal reporting requirements to enable the leadership team to track business performance effectively.
  7. Network and build strong working relationships based on trust with all stakeholders.
  8. Represent the business at stakeholder meetings, providing supporting reports as required.
  9. Manage higher value/complex work contracts and projects to ensure work is delivered to time, budget, and agreed quality standards.
  10. Identify opportunities to continually improve the business, such as enhancing working practices, expanding the portfolio, and achieving cost efficiencies.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Ideal candidate will be IRPM Qualified.
  2. Must have leasehold management experience.
  3. Deal effectively with the unexpected and enjoy overcoming difficult challenges.
  4. Be an experienced Line Manager, managing a geographically dispersed team of lone workers.
  5. Understand and have experience of Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenants Act.
  6. Know how to set budgets.
  7. Be experienced in holding resident meetings, such as Budget and Accounts meetings.
  8. Comfortable using own initiative to resolve issues calmly and make things happen.
  9. Have a positive and proactive attitude.
  10. Have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and demonstrate a progressive approach.
  11. Have experience of leading and developing high-performance teams.
  12. Have excellent communication skills.
  13. Work with a high level of detail.
  14. Have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  15. Ideal candidate will have an understanding of QUBE software systems.
  16. Willingness to travel on a day-to-day basis.
  17. Have a full clean driving licence and use of a car.
