This role is a fresh addition to the organization, and the team is seeking a supportive and motivating leader who encourages autonomy while also being an accessible resource for guidance.

Key Responsibilities of the Lead Finance Strategist:

  • Assist the broader finance team with inquiries, ensuring that the finance department meets its deadlines, and stepping in during peak times or staff absences.
  • Manage comprehensive finance operations, including financial forecasting and analysis.
  • Conduct various reconciliations and analyses as necessary.
  • Execute costing assessments as required by the organization and delve into pertinent financial data as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance Director, serving as the primary contact for business insights.
  • Although this position reports to the Finance Director, assistance with some administrative tasks will also be expected.
About You as the Lead Finance Strategist:

  • Be an engaged leader, willing to support the team when necessary, and aspiring to transition into a Financial Controller role in the near future, with opportunities for further advancement within the organization.
  • CIMA qualification is preferred.
