Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Join Autolus Limited as an Inventory Specialist and play a crucial role in the storage and flow of goods/materials from third parties into the manufacturing center. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate records, maintaining a safe working environment, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify deliveries of materials, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Input material information and data into the warehouse management system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform and document incoming materials checks for damage or discrepancies, maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and distributions, ensuring seamless inventory management.
  • Resolve shipment or delivery issues with suppliers or distributors, providing excellent customer service.
  • Operate forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange materials to maximize storage space.
  • Sample incoming materials for quality control testing, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Process distribution orders or requests, retrieving specified materials from storage and packing, sealing, and labeling them accordingly.
  • Clean equipment and materials prior to transfer into environmentally controlled manufacturing areas, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and safety.
  • Handle temperature-sensitive materials, operating Cryogenic equipment as required.
  • Perform activities in accordance with policies, procedures, and licenses, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and chain of custody procedures.
  • Work to a high safety standard, adhering to GMP and other regulatory standards.
  • Support the Warehouse Team leader in generating, reviewing, and approving cGMP and safety documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and COSHH assessments.
Requirements:
  • Experience gained in a transferable role in an Operations or relevant industry setting.
  • Experience working in a GMP pharmaceutical warehouse/inventory management environment (desirable).
  • Good attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret technical information and specifications in English.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and focused on team outcomes.
  • Meets physical requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of GMP and HS&E regulations relevant to pharmaceutical warehousing (desirable).
  • Good informational technology skills, including familiarity with ERP platform applications (desirable).
  • Commitment to high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of handling temperature-sensitive products, including receiving, storage, labeling, and packaging (desirable).
  • Customer-centricity, considering the impacts of all supply decisions on the customer.
Qualifications:
  • GCSE Level or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics.
  • Fork-lift truck license (desirable).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Warehouse Management systems (desirable).
