IT Site Services Manager

Location: Horsham & Crawley, UK

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to oversee the site services operations for our offices in Horsham & Crawley. This role involves ensuring the provision of technical assistance to our staff, optimizing operational efficiency, and upholding compliance standards. You will be instrumental in steering IT initiatives and enhancing our IT support services.

  • Provide direct technical assistance to on-site personnel
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and upkeep of IT systems
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges related to software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity
  • Collaborate with IT Shared Services teams and other PSG IT professionals
  • Engage in IT projects focused on system enhancements, network upgrades, and software deployments
  • Formulate local technology strategies and enforce objectives, budgets, and timelines

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing a diverse and multicultural end-user support team
  • Background in a regulated industry with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of application software, desktop support, and IT security
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Aptitude for making informed decisions within assigned responsibilities
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and familiarity with project management processes
