Position Overview:
This role is crucial for executing both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks across designated locations. You will serve as the primary contact for all maintenance-related issues within your assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) efficiently, ensuring all compliance documentation is consistently updated.
  • Respond swiftly to service requests, evaluating job requirements and executing repairs as necessary.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks to meet established timelines and response expectations.
  • Conduct maintenance for fire alarm systems and execute emergency lighting tests and repairs.
  • Follow the purchasing order protocol for materials and services.
  • Identify irreparable faults in equipment and promptly inform management with recommendations for replacements.
  • Communicate any maintenance issues to on-site management that may disrupt operations.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare reports as required by management.
  • Perform minor modifications and installations within your technical expertise, adhering to current standards.
  • Carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by management.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance personal skills in line with technological advancements.
  • Be available for a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Collaborate with company and client personnel to uphold quality standards consistently.
  • Adhere to any reasonable requests or instructions from management.

Financial Accountability:
This position involves tracking material expenditures and procurement.

Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
  • City and Guilds 17th or 18th Edition certification.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient in maintaining and repairing a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Commitment to quality in repairs and maintenance.
  • Efficiency and speed in task execution.
  • Timely response to service requests.
  • Successful completion of PPM schedules within set deadlines.
  • Adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
