Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our busy team at Lloyd Motor Group in Newcastle. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for the supervision and day-to-day running of the accounting and administration function within the retailer.
Key Responsibilities:- Assistance with the preparation of monthly management accounts to tight reporting deadlines for our manufacturer, BMW and MINI.
- Joint responsibility in managing a small accounts team and Sales Administrators.
- Reconciliation of month end control accounts and vehicle funding line.
- Vehicle Stock Checks and reconciliation.
- Monthly payroll preparation.
- Supporting and supplying departmental managers with financial analysis as required.
- Other ad hoc duties as required such as debt chasing and compliance and risk analysis.
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant role.
- CIMA or ACCA qualified or working towards is desirable.
- Experience of working within the motor industry in an accounting role is desirable.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
