Job Summary
Protecnium is seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead the H&S team on a large-scale construction project in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on site, collaborating with the customer's H&S Manager, and developing and implementing action plans to mitigate potential risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the maximum representative of H&S on site, ensuring the fulfillment of all relevant documents and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the customer's H&S Manager to ensure a collaborative approach to health and safety.
- Develop and implement action plans to prevent H&S risks and resolve potential issues.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a H&S Manager in similar projects, with experience in site constructions with stainless steel welding processes.
- Familiarity with relevant courses, such as Confined Space, Works at Height, Cherry Picker, Telehandler, Rigger/Slinger, and CSCS Green Card.
- Ability to create RAMs (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) for various construction operations.
- Spanish language skills are highly valued.
- A H&S degree is highly desirable.
