Position: Manufacturing Engineer / Manufacturing Process Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum, based on experience

Premier Engineering is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing processes and engineering principles.

Key Qualifications:
- NVQ/HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies
- Familiarity with FMEA, PPAP, and APQP
- Experience with Document Control and BOM creation
- Knowledge of HSE and COSHH regulations is advantageous
- Understanding of ISO9001 quality standards
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance product development
- Coordinate New Product Introductions (NPI)
- Provide engineering support for production operations
- Develop and prepare manufacturing work instructions
- Engage in process development initiatives
- Manage and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Oversee the use of appropriate jigs, fixtures, and tooling for manufacturing processes
- Present monthly performance reports
- Conduct supplier visits as necessary
