Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role:
Premier Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Berkshire. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and improvement of products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the engineering and production team with design, development, and improvements of products
• Being involved in various NPI activities
• Providing overall engineering support
• Being involved with process development
• Working to the companies Health & Safety requirements
• Creating Work Instructions

Requirements:
• NVQ/HNC/HND/Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• 4 years' or more experience working in a similar hands-on Manufacturing/Process improvement role
• Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Previous experience of implementing product and process improvements
• Proficient working with 3D CAD - SolidWorks or similar for DFM
• Knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, and APQP would be desirable
• Familiar with ISO9001 quality standards
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to work well alone as well as part of a small team
