Job Title: CNC Setter/Operator - Sliding Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a CNC Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a Citizen Cincom L20E-2M3 Sliding head machine to produce precision components to engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate the CNC Multi Axis Lathe (Citizen) to process Titanium and various sized batches of components.
  • Produce precision components to engineering drawings, ensuring all tolerances are met.
  • Handle and process materials in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ensure full conformance to all order requirements as presented.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in the computer-based stock control system.
  • Maximize stock utilization and minimize waste in accordance with quality and working procedures.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of CNC machine set-up, operation, preparation, and cutting.
  • Understanding of materials handling and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand cutting patterns to maximize stock utilization and minimize waste.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, diligent, analytical, and numerate.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement philosophies and quality processes.
