Position: Pipe Installation Specialist

Location: On-site in Glasgow – Govan and Scotstoun. Candidates must be available for a recruitment event in Glasgow. We provide various hybrid and flexible working options – please consult your recruiter regarding the specifics for this role.

Compensation: £37,318 (shift allowance of 33% may apply)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Constructing and fitting pipework systems in both large and small-bore applications utilizing various materials such as copper, cuni, and carbon steel.
  • Employing a variety of hand tools and mechanical equipment to cut, bend, braze, solder, and weld pipes.
  • Installing essential utilities aboard vessels, including sinks, showers, and toilets.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Possession of trade qualifications, such as formal Modern apprenticeship (ability to provide documentation).
  • Current expertise in pipe manufacturing and installation, along with proficiency in related equipment.
  • Thorough understanding of SHE risk awareness.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Safety certifications, including SHE induction, COSHH awareness, and working at height.
  • Experience in a significant construction or manufacturing setting.
