About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our brand-new CQC registered service in Maryport, supporting adults with learning disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and ensure the competence of your team through observation, assessment, coaching, and directing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and line manage a new team of support workers, working alongside our Occupational Therapist to undertake assessments and develop care plans.
  • Embed a culture of strong communication and reflective practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and meeting regulatory standards.
  • Develop and share your expertise as a subject matter expert and safeguarding lead, ensuring the high performance and quality assurance of your services.
  • Hold an on-call role for our care services on a rota with other Registered Managers, with occasional national travel to attend development days.
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Have held Registered Manager positions previously, ideally in learning disabilities services, with a good understanding of relevant regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Be able to talk confidently about supporting adults who lack capacity in the context of the Mental Capacity Act, the Court of Protection, and Best Interests decision making.
  • Have experience working in partnership and strong inter-agency links within health and social care.
