Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Accrofab (Alcester) Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects that drive operational excellence and process improvement within our Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects that deliver tangible results and drive operational excellence
- Define project scope and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for successful project delivery
- Obtain stakeholder buy-in and manage multiple issues simultaneously
- Implement project governance and risk management strategies
- Develop and execute project plans, including creation of execution plans and identification of critical paths
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote task awareness and offer support
- Manage contractors onsite and ensure robust and safe working practices
- Apply the EHS Model to create a safe working environment
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong technical ability and knowledge of multiple manufacturing processes
- Ability to offer alternative technical solutions and anticipate technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (essential)
- APM or Prince 2 qualification (desirable)
- IT skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
- General employee competences: problem-solving, basic project management
- Academic achievements: up to and including A level or degree level
