We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our innovative Closer2Home service. This exciting opportunity will enable you to work with young people and their families in their own homes, providing intensive support and treatment to prevent hospital admission.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver time-limited programmes of intensive home treatment to young people with complex mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with community CAMHS, children's services, and other agencies to provide a comprehensive and coordinated service.
  • Provide clinical leadership to the local Closer2Home team, ensuring effective delivery of the service and high-quality care for young people.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a qualified Mental Health Practitioner at band 6 level or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with clients with a range of mental health problems, including neurodevelopmental disorders and trauma.
  • Strong clinical leadership skills and ability to supervise staff and students.
  • Registration with the HPC as a Social Worker, Clinical Psychologist, Nurse, or Occupational Therapist.
