Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Modelling and Simulation Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our Flight Sciences Future Aircraft Fuel System Team, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in 1-D fluid flow Modelling and Simulation (M&S) to aid the development of fuel systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside System Engineers to apply your knowledge of M&S to aid the development of fuel systems from concept phase to detailed design and testing.
- Use toolsets such as Mathworks Simscape, Siemens AMESIM, or Flomaster to develop and maintain existing fuel system models and create new models as required.
- Support the creation of system qualification plans, including strategies for validating models using aircraft test data.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain model management plans.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team as required.
Requirements
- Strong 1-D fluid flow M&S skills using toolsets including AMESIM, Flomaster, or Simscape.
- Ability to support multiple aircraft programmes and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Desirable skills include Modelling control algorithms in toolsets such as Mathworks Simulink and knowledge of Jira and Confluence for task progress monitoring.
