About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting junior quantity surveyors, with a strong emphasis on pre-construction, tendering, and delivery. A strong background in quantity surveying and commercial management is essential, with experience in a variety of contracts, including JCT, D&B, and NEC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate quantity surveying activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, including tendering and procurement
  • Lead and support junior quantity surveyors, providing guidance and mentorship

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in quantity surveying and commercial management
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, including JCT, D&B, and NEC
  • Experience in fit out projects, particularly in the retail and leisure sectors
  • Ability to lead and support junior quantity surveyors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
