Job Title: Clinical Lead

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing high-quality telephone triage and clinical assessment services to patients and their carers/relatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as an autonomous practitioner providing comprehensive telephone triage and clinical assessment services to patients and/or their carers/relatives.
  • Facilitate the provision of accurate healthcare information, self-care/health improvement advice or, where applicable, referral to the appropriate level and location of care.
  • Use a variety of different models to deliver clinical supervision to non-clinical staff.
  • Registered as an Adult nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register.
  • Extensive post-registration experience, preferably within an acute or primary care setting, with a broad range of knowledge across a number of specialties.
