We are seeking a visionary Senior UX Designer to elevate our flagship product, Developer Analytics, and empower software development organisations to achieve peak performance. In this influential role, you will craft a clear strategic direction, shape the user experience vision aligned with business objectives, collaborate with stakeholders, inspire and guide cross-functional teams to achieve common goals, drive innovation, make a lasting impact, and redefine the future of software development performance optimization.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Build high-quality solutions to known user problems
  • Handoff clear and documented solutions to enable developers to understand what problem they are solving for the users.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our user's experiences to get a job done
  • Test solutions to verify usability and ability to solve a user's problem
  • Drive initiatives to help users adopt new habits and behaviours to achieve their goals
  • Set up knowledge-sharing processes that promote collaboration and training (i.e. Facilitate brainstorming meetings, design and run workshops, etc.)

What You Need to Succeed at BlueOptima:

  • 4+ years of experience working as a Product Designer or UX Designer.
  • Good communication skills, understanding of storytelling and presentation techniques
  • Experience in influencing and advocating for the user/customer to non-design audiences, such as Product or Technology Managers.
  • Understanding of end-to-end design process, from ideation to launch and ability to collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot any technical issues that arise, ensuring that the product meets performance and quality standards
  • Proven experience mapping user journeys, identifying pain points and opportunities, and delivering optimal solutions for users.
  • A proactive, empathic, and data-driven approach to problems and opportunities.
  • Experience using prototyping and collaboration tools such as Figma
  • Ability to validate hypotheses, evaluate deliverables' impact, and iterate based on objectives and data insights.
  • Experience designing and running user research and testing sessions
  • Ability to take ownership, creatively solve problems, and proactively contribute to the objectives of the business
  • Experience with workshop facilitation and design sprints.
