Senior Speech and Language Therapist

As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides specialist services to adults with communication and swallowing disorders.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist services to adults with communication and swallowing disorders, including those with tracheostomies, across various clinical areas.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to negotiate therapy packages, length of stay, and discharge arrangements.
- Liaise regularly with hospital and community therapy teams to ensure seamless care.
- Attend relevant meetings, including multidisciplinary team and Speech and Language Therapy team meetings.
- Provide accurate and timely statistical data to support service development.
- BSc or recognized postgraduate MSc or diploma in speech and language therapy.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Postgraduate training in communication disorders and aphasia therapy.
- Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Supervision Course.
- Established experience working with adult acquired and neurological disorders in an acute setting.
