Job Title: Resident Liaison Officer

The Resident Liaison Officer is the primary point of contact for residents, responsible for managing queries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires building strong relationships with residents, engaging with them to ensure their voice is heard, and providing support during refurbishment works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out pre-entry visits/surveys to confirm appointments and ensure access for works to be carried out.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of resident interactions, including minutes of meetings and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with site management to ensure resident satisfaction and minimize disruptions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to resident queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Assist with general office duties, including filing, data entry, and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in a customer care related discipline (or willingness to study towards this).
  • GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths and English.
  • Experience of working in a social housing environment, preferably in a resident liaison or customer service role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Caring and empathetic approach to resident interactions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Collaborative mindset, working with site management and other teams to deliver high-quality services.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to other sites as required.
