Registered Nurse - Residential Aged Care

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Southport on a Casual basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments, and plan care based on the outcomes, utilising contemporary evidence-based clinical knowledge and case management of clients.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A strong clinical background and current knowledge of practices
  • Skills in wound care, medication management, and post-acute care
  • Proven ability to manage workload and ensure documentation is complete and up to date
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal and an ability to work effectively within a team environment, relating to a wide range of staff, management, clients, and families
  • Sound computer knowledge with experience in clinical documentation systems
  • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly, approachable attitude
  • Client-centred care which respects and protects the rights, privacy & wellbeing of our clients
  • Current AHPRA Registration (Nursing)
  • Covid vaccination evidence
  • National Police Clearance
