Position Overview
We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a Program Coordinator within our client's dynamic and growing engineering division. You will play a pivotal role in the design and development of cutting-edge underwater technologies and defense initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver tailored projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and fulfillment of all outlined specifications.
- Formulate and implement functional, environmental, and production testing protocols to verify the integration of hardware, firmware, and software systems, while ensuring thorough documentation of outcomes.
- Proactively identify and address project-related risks.
- Guarantee compliance of all project activities with both internal and external customer standards and procedures.
- Lead and participate in comprehensive internal and external project evaluations.
- Prepare, submit, and oversee all essential project documentation.
- Effectively engage with customers through regular communication and scheduled meetings as necessary.
- Provide remote assistance for the installation and commissioning of new systems.
- Conduct detailed project closure reviews to confirm that all project objectives are achieved and documented.
Given the nature of the work, we are seeking a candidate who is local to the area, capable of attending the office as required, while offering a degree of flexibility based on the candidate's situation.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline (BSc/BEng or equivalent).
- Certification in project management (APM PMQ, PRINCE 2, or an equivalent qualification).
- A comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle and its various stages.
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service and engaging effectively with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with senior-level stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Extensive experience in project management, particularly in roles necessitating direct customer interaction and coordination across multiple departments.
- Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary project teams.
Security Clearance: The candidate must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC) for this role.
