Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Technician to join our team at Royal Borough of Greenwich. As a Drainage Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our sewerage system, ensuring the smooth flow of water throughout the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain sewerage pipes and systems
  • Investigate and clear blockages in tenanted properties and external drain runs
  • Replace waste pipes and associated fittings
  • Work with the plumbing team to ensure efficient pipe maintenance
  • Perform CCTV surveys to identify pipe issues
  • Participate in heavy lifting and external digging works

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds, NVQ equivalent, or extensive experience in pipe maintenance
  • Full driving licence, with 7.5 ton preferred
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and digging
