Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Drainage Technician to join our team at Royal Borough of Greenwich. As a Drainage Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our sewerage system, ensuring the smooth flow of water throughout the borough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain sewerage pipes and systems
- Investigate and clear blockages in tenanted properties and external drain runs
- Replace waste pipes and associated fittings
- Work with the plumbing team to ensure efficient pipe maintenance
- Perform CCTV surveys to identify pipe issues
- Participate in heavy lifting and external digging works
Requirements:
- City & Guilds, NVQ equivalent, or extensive experience in pipe maintenance
- Full driving licence, with 7.5 ton preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and digging
