Transportation Requirement: Due to the hotel's location, candidates must have their own means of transport. Staff accommodation is available off-site at a rate of £60 per week, inclusive of utilities (excluding food and internet).
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the arrangement, dismantling, and sanitation of all conference facilities to meet established standards.
- Maintaining the security and safety of the hotel premises throughout the night.
- Delivering round-the-clock room service and front desk assistance.
- Ensuring the hotel’s cleanliness is upheld to the highest standards at all times.
- Recruiting, training, and nurturing departmental staff.
- Managing staff schedules and monitoring attendance records.
- Serving as the primary contact for guests and addressing any concerns or complaints.
Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful Overnight Operations Manager will possess prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. You will be expected to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests, efficiently lead a team, and be dedicated to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards. A strong work ethic, confidence, and the ability to foster positive relationships with guests and staff alike are essential.
Position Overview: In this role, you will oversee all Night Porters and report directly to the Restaurant Manager. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week across any five days of the week, with a competitive salary of £26,960 per annum. Additionally, gratuities are distributed to all staff members bi-monthly, contributing approximately £500 to annual earnings.
