At Serco, we are seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Expert to enhance our Microsoft Security capabilities and maximize the value we get from our investment in Microsoft Security.
About the Role:This role will work with the operational security teams and operational support teams across Serco, developing and maintaining our internal capability and not being customer-facing.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and mature the Microsoft Security capability across Serco
- Enhance existing Security controls and develop a roadmap for enhancements and improvements, aligned to both our Security Strategy and Microsoft's Security development roadmap
- Optimize configurations, leveraging the Microsoft Security products to maintain and improve our Security posture, ensure best practice, and drive effectiveness and efficiency across the Cyber Security tower
- Provide Technical support and expertise to other teams, including Security Operations and Operational Support teams
- Be the Technical Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft Security tools within Security and the wider organisation
- Work closely and collaboratively with Security teams and functions as required
- Be 'Hands on' when required to implement changes and improvements within the tools
- Adhere to Serco's governance processes, including creation of Design documentation, Standards and Guidance
- Provide elements of support and expertise to other non-Microsoft tools where required
Candidates will have a background in Information Technology and/or Cyber Security tools, with a minimum 3 years' experience working with Microsoft Security products in either an implementation or advance technical support role.
It is also desirable for the candidate to have:
- An intermediate level Security qualification (such as Security+, CYSA+ or equivalent), or working towards these qualifications
- A Microsoft/Azure Security certification (such as AZ-) or equivalent
