Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing our application engineers with the tools, systems, and container platform cluster needed to build, deploy, and run their workloads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, compare, choose, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Proactively monitor the health of the platform and improve visibility.
  • Actively participate in improving the reliability, scalability, and security of the container platform.
  • Investigate platform issues, ensuring timely remediation and escalation when necessary.
  • Coach and mentor other engineers, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in the FinTech industry to continuously improve and develop processes.
Requirements
  • Solid experience with OKD, OpenShift, or Kubernetes administration, including the building, deployment, and management of containerized workloads.
  • Experienced in developing infrastructure as code using common languages and tooling, including a working knowledge of Linux.
  • Background in working with clustered, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
  • A working knowledge of at least one commercial cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean).
  • A pragmatic problem solver with good attention to detail and communication skills.
  • A strong collaborator who enjoys pairing and is eager to share knowledge and expertise with others.
  • A growth mindset with an appetite for taking on challenges and leveraging new technologies.

Interview Process

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Our interview process consists of three stages:

  • 1st stage: Interview with Hiring Manager and a member of the Engineering team - 60 minutes.
  • 2nd stage: Technical interview via Zoom with two engineers from the team - 60 minutes.
  • Final stage: Further interview with hiring manager and one other - 30 minutes.
