Cloud Architect and Engineer

Cathcart Technology, a leading IT consultancy, is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect and Engineer to join their Enterprise team. As a Cloud Architect and Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions for clients across Scotland and the UK.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing enterprise-level cloud solutions
  • Requirement gathering, design, development, delivery, and support
  • Transitioning workloads to cloud infrastructure
  • Integrating and overseeing large-scale cloud environments
  • Assisting clients with the adoption of cloud technologies throughout the full project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of working with cloud-based technologies, specifically Azure
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure
  • Skills in infrastructure-as-code tools, public and hybrid cloud, Azure storage, security, identity, and access management, firewalls, and experience with Windows and Linux technologies
