We are looking for a proactive and skilled individual with strong manual testing expertise. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality of our new web platform and the APIs that support it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance manual test plans to align with the requirements outlined in user stories.
  • Create, maintain, and expand manual regression tests and scripts to cover all scenarios documented in the provided stories.
  • Prepare and manage test data necessary for executing test plans and scripts.
  • Provide estimates for testing activities based on the user stories.
  • Conduct manual testing on the website and RESTful APIs, ensuring compatibility across various devices, browsers, email clients, and screen resolutions.
  • Engage in manual testing throughout the software development lifecycle, including during release phases.
  • Document all testing activities, collaborating with the team to determine the most effective documentation approach.
  • Ensure all documentation is accessible on the Cromwell network throughout the contract duration, avoiding personal storage of work or documentation. Examples of documentation include test execution reports, test evidence, screenshots, and videos.
  • Report and communicate any significant risks, bugs, or issues related to product quality to management.
  • Log bugs identified during testing or through user feedback, detailing replication steps, actual behavior, and expected behavior.

Role Expectations:

  • Understand and execute all deliverables effectively.
  • Collaborate with the team and project owner to develop and agree on test scenarios.
  • Monitor development processes to ensure quality and accuracy are upheld on the platform.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in manual testing, preferably in the e-commerce sector.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
  • Understanding of HTTP requests and responses.

Our Web Quality Assurance Specialist should:

  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail when conducting tests and documenting outcomes.
